Jatropha Red Plant is a genus of flowering plants in the spurge family, Euphorbiaceae. The name is derived from the Greek words ἰατρός, meaning “physician”, and τροφή, meaning “nutrition”, hence the common name physic nut. Another common name is nettlespurge.
