A tropical shrubby vine with arching branches , glossy green pinnate leaves. In summer , showy trusses of bell shaped trumpet like flowers of sweet pink with deeper veins and yellow throats. Narrow brown seed pods in fall. Does not produce tendrils. Likes sun to light shade – average moisture – tolerates salt spray. Great for hedges, screens, etc. Hardy zone 9-10. Very showy in flower.
